Memories of grandma
I have so many memories of Grandma. I remember when I was about 10, I would spend the night with her and grandpa almost every weekend. Grandma and I would sit at the table playing cards while grandpa sat in his chair watching TV. Every once in a while he would chime in to tease me a little bit because no matter how many games we played, I could never beat grandma in cards! When it was bedtime I would lay in bed for maybe a half hour and then I was knocking on grandmas door telling her I was scared. She would always come in and sit with me until I fell asleep. Sundays were just as great. Grandma would go shopping after church and I got to stay with grandpa. We watched TV and ate ice cream. I had so much fun spending time with both of them. Then when they moved next door to mom and dad, I worked 3rd shift. Every morning after work I would go sit with grandma and have coffee. She had a light in her window and when she got up she would turn in on so I knew to come over. I always looked forward to getting off work because I loved that time with grandma. We talked for hours about anything and everything. I miss her so much already! I love you grandma and I will never forget what a great woman you were and all the times we shared!
